Why Now? In my work developing coaches and leaders within organizations and entrepreneurs and parents, I have

In an era marked by social media-induced stress and demanding work environments, many struggle to find balance. Spring aims to address these challenges by centering the user, offering content on life skills, and providing employees a voice within their organizations.

The Spring Approach Spring uplifts individuals and organizations by prioritizing user-centric content on personal and professional growth. For employees, it facilitates anonymous feedback and real-time company performance insights, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.

What Sets Us Apart?

A completely ad-free experience: Spring remains free, never selling ads or personal data, focusing on necessary content creation.

Innovative Learning Tool: It introduces a selective social media model for meaningful content and interactions.

Revolutionizing HR: Spring reimagines HR, combining personal development with strategic data use to enhance team skills and company culture.

Our Vision and Team

Led by Johan Premfors and supported by a team of experts, including Donald Tanguay and Cyril Lincoln, Spring leverages coaching insights and technology to potentially impact millions. Despite fears and challenges, the commitment to making a meaningful difference drives the team forward.

The Urgency

Spring is more than a platform; it’s a mission to foster personal growth and make a substantial impact in the learning and social media sphere, proving the value of prioritizing individual needs over profits for long-term success.

Spring is a declaration of the individual's value and worth. With Spring, the user is the center of the universe, whether they work for a company or not.

If you are an individual user the content is about life-learning and addresses some of the things that you will face in your life from relationships to parenting. The content is unapologetic, edgy, and meant to create insights that eventually lead to the life you deserve. The road to that is not straight, but Spring will help you on the way.

If you are an employee in an organization (you can switch between personal and work accounts with one click) you now have a way to both stay informed with content and training, but also to be heard by your company. Survey questions are integrated into content and training and become a natural and easy way for you to express your thoughts anonymously. Feedback functions allow you to flag concerns, and your company gets real-time indications of how well the overall company is doing. This data is aggregated and strictly anonymous.

Because your company now has access to real-time data they are now accountable to both you and the company. Whether the data is good or bad they are now able to respond by making announcements (using Spring of course), publishing new training, deploying surveys/pulses, or if needed calling a town hall or meeting to address what is going on. Spring becomes a barometer for employee engagement, fulfillment, and collaboration.

Spring works both at home and at work. At the end of the day you are one person.

What is Spring mainly

While you will be able to share images and video you will only be able to do that over the chat function.

What Is So Different About What We Do?

  1. Free and No Ads

One of the major differentiators is that Spring will always be free. We will never sell personal data or ads. To maintain a neutral editorial agenda, we must not allow ourselves to be influenced by a commercial agenda as we would if we sold ads. The benefit to you, the user, is that we will create the content that you need (and not what will help advertisers).

  1. A New Social Media Learning Tool

Spring signals the arrival of a new type of social media focused on quality content created by a select group of thought leaders, academics, and leading institutions worldwide. The social part of the app is reserved for your closest friends and a small group of collaborators at work. We are focused on creating strong connections as we believe that you have all the apps in the world to have as many connections as you want.

  1. Ushering a New Era of HR Thinking

It's time to bring rock and roll to HR and make it possible for you, as an HR leader to engage and upskill your teams in new and meaningful ways. Spring completely changes the game with personal and engaging content, enabling organizations to author their content and access incredible aggregated data that supports culture building and training.

Why us?

Our expertise and influence in the coaching world, combined with our ability to build and scale technological solutions, present an opportunity to create a significant impact on the world while being commercially viable.

Then there is the team from my soul mate and wife Gönan Premfors, Donald Tanguay (CFO), who built Google's Image Search, and Cyril Lincoln (CTO) , who helped finance more than USD 35 billion worth of real estate deals in the UAE. And don't forget Mark Woodward, our world-class creative director, and Brent Kievat-Kylar, our data science officer.

A personal note about fear

It's not all easy. I have jumped through hoops for years to arrive at the product and where we are today.

The fear of failing and not being good enough is a constant. "Who am I to believe I can build a company that impacts millions?" On good days, I know I’m the one; on bad days, doubts creep in. "What if the product isn’t good enough? What if my years of research and understanding of the market are simply wrong?"

Having been in the coaching field for nearly two decades, the "fear of failing" is familiar territory. We teach coaches how to navigate these doubts. I've learned to navigate through these voices, but they grow stronger as we move closer to realizing Spring’s vision. I'm no exception.

What’s at Stake?

I'm transparent in my motivations and recognize the many factors at play. I believe it's possible to balance altruistic and commercial agendas. Succeeding with Spring means becoming a global player in the social media and learning space, bringing success, financial rewards, and the ability to impact millions globally. It also means proving myself to anyone who doubted the idea or thought it was too ambitious. I am at peace with wanting to create a legacy around this work.

I have always advocated for justice and fairness. I want Spring to stand as a testament to the individual's journey, helping people learn, grow, and make life-changing decisions.

Having spent ample time in the world of technology and investment, I understand that investors are primarily driven by returns rather than impact. Humanistic and environmental goals often take a backseat to profits. At Spring, we believe we can be equally, if not more, profitable in the long term by prioritizing the individual user first.

And, this is urgent. I don't like to use clichées but the world needs this more than ever. Every person that we help will create a ripple effect at work, at home, and in their communities.

It's time for Spring.
